Ethan Cole is MyTechGuide’s editorial byline for travel technology guides. The starting point is what a traveler needs a setup to do: connect a tablet independently, share data with a laptop, or keep a family online when everyone heads in different directions.
The coverage weighs cost, convenience, and the devices already available. A separate data plan may be useful for one trip, while a phone hotspot is enough for another.
Ethan’s approach is pragmatic and mildly skeptical. Every recommendation should explain what an extra purchase adds, which inconvenience it solves, and when the existing setup will do the job.
