Jetpac vs Saily: Which Travel eSIM Offers Better Value?

Jetpac vs Saily comes down to your route and the exact plan you buy. For a 14-day trip with 10GB of data, Jetpac’s displayed sale prices were lower in Japan, the USA and Europe when we checked on September 24, 2026. The Japan difference was just €0.49. A lower plan price does not mean faster data, and a regional pack is useful only if it includes every country on your itinerary.

Quick Verdict

Choose Jetpac if its sale price is still available at checkout and its listed networks and countries suit your trip. Its 10GB plans also advertise hotspot sharing and access to selected essential apps after the regular data allowance ends. Choose Saily if its coverage matches your route better, particularly when a European itinerary includes Turkey, or if you value its built-in security tools. For Turkey, buy and set up Saily before entering the country because its site and top-ups may be unavailable there. Both let you share the fixed 10GB allowance with another device; neither 10GB pack provides unlimited full-speed data.

Jetpac vs Saily at a Glance

Jetpac and Saily for a 14-day trip with a 10GB, 30-day travel eSIM in Japan, the USA or Europe
Provider Good choice for What stands out Check before buying
Jetpac A covered Japan, USA or Europe route when the sale price still applies. Lower displayed prices for the three matched 10GB plans; selected essential apps may keep working after the regular data runs out. Confirm every country on your route. Turkey was absent from the Europe pack’s country list we checked.
Saily A European route through Turkey if set up before entry, or a traveler who wants security tools in the eSIM app. The Europe plan lists Turkey; Saily adds an ad blocker, web protection and virtual location. Its matched 10GB plans cost more at the prices checked. Saily says its site and top-ups are unavailable inside Turkey.

The Japan and USA price gaps were small. Europe’s was larger, but coverage matters more if a cheaper pack misses a country on your route. Check the Jetpac Europe and Saily Europe country lists before buying. These plan details do not establish a speed winner.

10GB Plans and Prices

For a two-week trip, we matched one fixed-data plan per provider and destination: 10GB in total, valid for 30 days. These are the prices displayed in euros for a single pack on September 24, 2026.

Displayed EUR prices checked September 24, 2026. Jetpac showed the crossed-out amounts alongside its sale prices. No discount code or multi-pack offer was applied; final checkout totals were not independently checked. Your location may change the currency shown.

On the displayed prices, Jetpac is cheaper by €0.49 in Japan, €1.99 in the USA and €10.99 in Europe. The small Japan and USA gaps could change with an eligible discount code. In Europe, check every country on your route before chasing the €10.99 saving.

Networks and Route Coverage

Check the actual plan and every stop on your route. A carrier name on a product page does not prove which eSIM will be faster at your hotel, on a train or in a rural area. We did not run side-by-side speed tests.

Published network and country information for the 10GB Jetpac and Saily plans in Japan, the USA and Europe
Destination Jetpac Saily What it means
Japan The selected 10GB pack lists KDDI and Rakuten with 4G/5G access. Its Japan page mentions KDDI and SoftBank, but does not tie those names to the exact 10GB pack. If one carrier matters for your itinerary, confirm the network in the final plan details.
USA The selected 10GB pack lists T-Mobile USA. The public 10GB listing does not identify a specific partner network. Do not assume either plan has a coverage or speed advantage without the actual network details.
Europe The selected regional pack lists Switzerland but did not list Turkey. The Europe page lists 35 countries, including Switzerland and Turkey; it does not name each country’s network for the 10GB pack. Match every border crossing to the selected pack, rather than relying on the word “Europe.”

Turkey needs advance planning. Saily lists it on the Europe plan, but says its website and top-ups are unavailable inside Turkey and app access may be limited. Buy and set up the plan before entering; check its Turkey setup warning before departure. Jetpac’s Europe country list did not include Turkey for the 10GB pack we checked.

Hotspot and Data Limits

Both 10GB plans let you share data with a laptop or another phone. Jetpac advertises hotspot use, and Saily’s Europe and USA pages do not state a separate hotspot allowance. The shared traffic still comes out of the same fixed 10GB: if a laptop uses 4GB, only 6GB remains for everything else.

Jetpac uses the phrase “unlimited tethering,” but the 10GB pack does not become unlimited general data. After the allowance runs out, Jetpac advertises access to selected essential apps; do not count on that as a working laptop hotspot. Saily lets you add another plan in its app if you need more data. Its hotspot setup guide covers iPhone and Android.

Hotspot also depends on your phone’s settings and local connection. If Airalo is on your shortlist, see our Saily vs Airalo hotspot comparison for that separate decision.

Extras and Travel Benefits

Jetpac has the more travel-specific extras. Packs of at least 3GB advertise continued WhatsApp chat, Google Maps navigation, Uber and Grab access after regular data runs out. That is a fallback for selected tasks, not a fresh 10GB allowance or open internet access.

Jetpac’s SmartDelay can provide a lounge voucher after a qualifying flight delay. You must register the flight in its app at least 24 hours before departure; Jetpac states a one-hour airline-announced delay threshold. Treat the lounge as a conditional perk, not guaranteed access with every pack or delay.

Saily’s extras are useful during everyday browsing. Its plans include an ad blocker, web protection and virtual location, which you can enable in the app. Virtual location is not a replacement for a full VPN, and the blocker cannot remove every ad. The plan pages also show 3% back in Saily credits, usable toward later in-app perks. We did not subtract those credits from the cash prices above.

Setup, Top-Ups and Support

Install either eSIM before departure while you have Wi-Fi, and check that your phone supports eSIM and is unlocked. At the destination, turn on the travel eSIM and data roaming for that line. Both providers describe automatic connection when you reach a supported destination; the selected 30-day validity is the usage period, not the time you have to wait before traveling.

Jetpac says an unactivated pack remains in your account for three months after purchase. Saily’s current app page says plans activate at the destination or after 180 days, but a Saily help article still says to install and activate within 30 days. If you are buying months ahead, confirm the deadline for your exact Saily plan with support before paying.

Both let you reuse an installed eSIM and add data without starting from scratch: Jetpac offers packs through its site or app, while Saily’s app has an “Add data” flow. Saily offers 24/7 in-app chat and email; Jetpac lists WhatsApp and email on its support page. We did not test response times. For Turkey, arrange enough Saily data before arrival because in-country top-ups are unavailable.

Final Verdict: Jetpac or Saily for a 14-Day Trip?

At the displayed, pre-code prices, Jetpac is the lower-priced pick for the three matched 10GB plans we checked, provided its sale and country coverage still fit your trip. The Japan and USA price advantages are small, so I would not choose on those margins alone. Its selected-app access after the cap and conditional SmartDelay perk can add value if you will use them.

Choose Saily when the selected European route includes Turkey or when its security tools matter more to you than the displayed price gap. Buy and set it up before entering Turkey. Neither provider has earned a speed win here: we have published plan details, not comparable field tests. If MYTECHGUIDE applies to your selected Saily plan, 10% off could reverse the small Japan and USA price gaps. Recheck the final price, network and country list at checkout.

If neither 10GB pack suits your data use or route, compare the best eSIMs for other travel styles before paying.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Saily or Jetpac cheaper for a 10GB travel eSIM?

Jetpac’s displayed sale prices were lower for the 10GB/30-day Japan, USA and Europe packs on September 24, 2026. The gaps were €0.49, €1.99 and €10.99, respectively. No code was applied, so compare the final checkout totals before you buy.

Can I use a hotspot with Jetpac and Saily?

Yes, both allow hotspot sharing on the fixed-data plans compared here. Your phone and connected devices draw from the same 10GB total; “unlimited hotspot” does not mean unlimited mobile data.

Does Saily Europe work in Turkey?

Turkey appears on Saily’s Europe country list. Saily also warns that its website and top-ups are unavailable inside Turkey, and app access may be limited. Purchase and set up the plan before entering, and check the activation instructions and remaining data.

Which is faster in Japan or the USA?

We cannot name a speed winner without comparable tests on the same device and route. Jetpac lists KDDI and Rakuten on its selected Japan pack and T-Mobile USA on its selected US pack. Saily names KDDI and SoftBank on its Japan country page but does not identify the network for the specific US 10GB pack on its public page. Local coverage and congestion will affect either service.

What happens after the 10GB allowance runs out?

Jetpac advertises continued access to a few essential apps on eligible packs, but not unrestricted internet. With Saily you can buy more data in the app, except that Saily says in-country top-ups are unavailable in Turkey. If you expect laptop work or streaming, buy a larger allowance before you leave.
